You’ll forgive my absence from blogging I am sure… I have rested as much as I could since I returned home in an effort to resistance the typical after-travel sickness. Other than extreme fatigue and my usual aches and pains, I had been doing well. Plenty of nephew hugs and time with my parents have proven wonderful. Tonight I had a small muscle spasm in my lower back and had to walk up the stairs to my bedroom like a hunch-back to keep weight off of it. Still, I fully expect that sleep and heat will have me up and running tomorrow.
The weekend was great. The Snowflake Bible Quiz was fun, ran smoothly, and got my books out to my fellow quizzers. Thankfully someone else drove my car most of the way home so I was able to take it easy in the car Sunday. My air-mattress actually allowed me to sleep at the church where we stayed. So while I was really tired when I finally arrived in Bangor again, I was not nearly as tired as I could have been!
It was awesome to get to go to my church tonight and it will be nice to have my own Internet connection back for homework tomorrow. My tempurpedic welcomes me and a lot of my luggage is unpacked. I’m already negotiating for my next trip to Virginia and looking into a couple other locations as well. So trip one a success!
