Rebirth Publishing was formed in November 2009 by Jessie Mae Hodsdon. It released Issym, the first book in The Xsardis Chronicles by Hodsdon that Thanksgiving. A year later its sequel Asandra appeared in stores. Rebirth’s goal is to provide adventure with a purpose and a thing it calls ‘depravity free reading’. Depravity free reading is more than no swear words or junky scenes. You can expect when you pick up anything from Rebirth Publishing that the content is appropriate for people of all ages. No bad jokes. No inappropriate connotations.
Because Rebirth Publishing was founded by a young person, it believes in young people. It longs to inspire children (and adults too!) not to wait until they are ’grown up’ to do big things. God has plans for people, right NOW! Rebirth Publishing’s author is available to speak about this at youth groups, churches and schools and holds creative writings workshops.
